New Maintenance Module - Introduction / Apparatus Grid

This article will provide an overview of the new Maintenance Module and the Apparatus Grid.

Welcome to the new Maintenance Module! The look and feel is significantly updated to provide you a better user experience when managing your equipment and apparatus.

Here’s a quick lay-of-the-land of the Apparatus Grid:

Horizontal Button Bar 

1. The "Equipment" and "Apparatus" buttons allow you to switch the main grid view to either the Equipment Grid or the Apparatus Grid. 

2. The “Assigned PPE” button only appears in accounts that have the full Safety Analytics package. This is the part of the Maintenance Module where you can manage PPE Sets for all your personnel. Click here to learn more about this feature.

3. The "Reports" button takes you to a list of system reports related to the Assets Module.

4. The "Support", "Help", and "Log Out" buttons function the same here as they do throughout the rest of the system.

  

 

Column Headers - Apparatus Grid

1. The “Add New Apparatus” button allow a user with full permissions to add a new piece of equipment to your equipment list.

2. The column headers include:

 

 

a. “Check All” Box – checking this box selects all grid results for conducting Bulk Operations. Click here for a KBA on Bulk Operations in the Maintenance Module.

b. Apparatus ID - click the dark gray area to sort ascending or descending. Type all or part of the Apparatus ID to filter the grid results. NOTE: This number is pulled from the following field:

c. Vehicle # - click the dark gray area to sort ascending or descending. Type all or part of a vehicle number to filter the grid results. NOTE: This number is pulled from the following field:

d. Station - click the dark gray area to sort ascending or descending. Type all or part of an vehicle’s station assignment to filter the grid results.

e. Maintenance - click the dark gray area to sort ascending or descending. Select a maintenance type to filter the grid results.

f. Work Assignment - click the dark gray area to sort ascending or descending. Type all or part of the name of assigned person or vendor for the maintenance item to filter the grid results.

g. Scheduled Date - click the dark gray area to sort ascending or descending. Select from one of the following choices to filter the grid:

 Click to access the grid of all your agency's archived apparatus:
