What should I do if I keep getting session time-outs?

If your system is experiencing time-outs at an increased rate, there are a few things you can try to fix it:

  • Check CPU time
  • Check your account’s Timeout Settings, and
  • Clear cookies and temporary Internet files from your browser.

If none of those things work, try this.

Step 1

Go to the Login Screen in any browser and change the normal URL to the following: https://secure.emergencyreporting.com/Logout.aspx

Step 2

Type the Enter or Return key on your keyboard.

Step 3

Try logging in again.

This should stop the endless session time-out loop.
