The Demographics Module allows users to compare their agency’s data (response times, budget, staffing, total calls, etc.) to other departments based on a search of similar criteria. Using this search, an agency can determine response effectiveness and even defend the budget.
Searching for Other Agencies
1. Click the ‘Demographics’ button in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
1. Use the filters that appear below the header of the grid to search for agencies based on the following search parameters:
|Residential Population Served||Enter a Minimum Population and a Maximum Population.|
|Daytime Population Served||Enter a Minimum Population and a Maximum Population.|
|Area Served||Enter a Minimum Square Miles and a Maximum Square Miles.|
|Annual Budget||Enter a Minimum Budget and a Maximum Budget, in dollars.|
|Total Calls||Enter a Minimum Calls and a Maximum Calls.|
|Total Staff||Enter a Minimum Staff and a Maximum Staff number.|
The grid will automatically filter based on the search criteria that are entered. For each search parameter, you may enter a minimum or maximum. You may search based on more than one field, the results will be narrowed based on the added search criteria.
Note: The Search results will display. Some information, such as Contact and Profile information may not be available if an agency opted for more strict Privacy Options.
