Define Events Settings

The Events module allows departments to schedule and track non-class related events, such as company drills or a painting headquarters party.

Use the Settings available in Events to create categories, to organize events within, and define event types your department will use.

Add an Event Category:

Step 1

Click Event Categories on the main Events page, under Settings.

Step 2

Click Add New Category.

Step 3

Enter a Category Name.

Step 4

Click Save.

Define Event Types:

Define the Event Types for regularly occurring, broad types of event your department runs, such as School Visits, Station Clean-Ups, and so on.

Step 1

Click Event Types on the main Events page, under Settings.

Step 2

Click Add New Type.

Step 3

Enter an Event Type.

Step 4

Click Save.
