Setting Up Pay Grades

Enable Points For Incidents

Step 1

Go to the Payroll Module.

Step 2

Click Settings.

Step 3

Click the check box beside Enable Points for Incidents that correlates to your payroll situation.

Step 4

Add two new Pay Grades:

  1. One to cover your pay on an incident when you bring your personal vehicle, and
  2. One for when you don’t have a personal vehicle on-scene.

Basic Info 4 with Personal Vehicle

Step 1

On the Basic Info 4 page, select the Add Apparatus button.

Step 2

Select the Apparatus ID for your personal vehicle.

Step 3

Then selected myself as the personnel on the apparatus.

Step 4

In the Payroll screen, I recorded pay at one point, and the Incident + PVrate that was set up in the Payroll module.

Entering An Incident Where You Have Not Used Your Personal Vehicle

Step 1

In the Basic Info 4 window, I selected the Add Apparatus button and this window pops up.

Step 2

Within that window, I selected the Apparatus ID for a station vehicle (E-1 in my test scenario).

Step 3

Then selected myself as the personnel on the apparatus.

Step 4

In the Payroll screen, I recorded pay at one point, and the Incident rate that was set up in the Payroll module.
