This gauge monitors the Monthly required NFPA 1500 Safety Inspections for each of your facilities.
The criteria used to calculate the Facilities compliance is the completion of monthly NFPA 1500 Monthly Safety Inspection and the inspection result for occupancies within the NFPA Facilities category.
If the bar below the gauge is:
- Green, then an inspection has been done within the last month with a result of Passed
- Amber, then an inspection has been done within the last month with a result of Passed with comments
- Red, then an inspection has been done within the last month with a result of Correction notice issued. Facilities with a last NFPA 1500 Monthly Safety Inspection that is older than one month will also be included in this list.
- Black, then an inspection has been done within the last month with a result of IDLH

When you become a Safety Analytics customer we provide a pre-defined category in the Occupancy Module for NFPA Facilities, and one Subcategory for Fire Station. You will need to add Subcategories that you need beyond this level. Any facility you add to one of these Subcategories will be considered for this gauge.
You will also see a pre-defined Inspection Type of NFPA 1500 Monthly Safety Inspection added to your Inspection Type list. You can use any form for this inspection but we suggest you follow the NFPA example.
Upon completion of the form when you get to the Inspection Results you will only the 4 results below that will move the gauge.
- Passed with Comments
- Correction Notice Issued
Clicking on any light bar will show a list of facilities that meet that criteria. Clicking on the Facility name will take you to the Occupancy section and open the Inspections tab so you can correct the problem.
