The General Settings tab allows you to select certain functionality for the Training 3.0 Module. Here is how to set it up to be of use for you.
- Navigate to the Training 3.0
- Once in the Training 3.0Module, click on the Settings
- Click on the General Settings
Option 1: Track Hours by Training Code by Individual
Selecting this option also requires Track Hours by Training Code to be selected. This will allow you to adjust the amount of time an individual spends on a particular Training Code. This would be useful in a situation where you are doing company hoseline drills and you might want to give the engine operator credit for pump operations and not hoseline skills. Even if you have no intention of tracking to this detail it is a beneficial option as some Training Reports require this option to be selected in order to work properly.
Example: The following class was a two-hour training. Because “Track Hours by Training Code by Individual” was selected in the General Settings tab the hours can be adjusted for the individual on the People tab of a Class. In this case Jerry did not participate in Two person raise because he had to leave training so his time was adjusted to reflect that.
Option 2: Track Hours by Training Code
Selecting this option will allow the class length to be divided by training code(s) chosen for a class or class template. Your Class Length will be calculated as a sum of the time entered for each individual Training Code. Some Training Reports require this option to be selected in order to work properly.
Example: The following class was a two-hour training. Because “Track Hours by Training Code” was selected in the General Settings tab the hours for this training session were assigned to two Training Codes. The hours assigned to the Training Codes are automatically added together in the Class Length field.
Option 3: Hide Master Task Sheets
Selecting this option will hide any regional Task Sheets (e.g. Federal, State, or County) when they are added to a class. Task Sheets entered in the Task Sheets tab will always be shown.
Option 4: Hide Master Codes
Selecting this option will hide any regional Training Codes (e.g. Federal, State, or County) when they are added to a class. Codes entered in the Training Codes tab will always be shown.
- Make sure to click Save after making any changes.
